  • Tahiti: Guy Martin in Tetiaroa

Not just for its aura and beauty of its private lagoon, but also for its gastronomy … Out of respect for this legendary land considered sacred by its first inhabitants, Chef Guy Martin has chosen to highlight the wealth of the Pacific and also organic orchard atoll … He works and revisits local products to offer a menu with tasty blend of flavors. We taste these wonders in the gourmet restaurant aptly named les Mutinés or at the beach restaurant specialized in fish and seafood.

  • Tel Aviv: inauguration of the White Villa

    In the heart of Tel Aviv “the city that never sleeps” near the Habima Theatre, a new boutique hotel has just been updated. 5 years of work were necessary to transform this house, built in 1948 by Samuel Barkai and in the style of Le Corbusier, into an ultra neat hotel. Railings, paneling, fireplaces have been retained throughout the building that offers 16 rooms and 2 spacious lofts. The antique furniture blend perfectly with other more contemporary signed by the architect Stefano Dorata place. We like the rooms in ground garden with terraces and the roof top. A. F.-M


  • British Airways and Marks & Spencer team up!

    Finally we will be able to enjoy delicious sandwiches in the plane rather than bad trays and not necessarily healthy! To offer the best flight experience to passengers British Airways partners with another great British brand – Marks & Spencer. The latter, one of the most popular in Britain, is known for its wide selection of sandwiches, salads to take away. All the elements of the card are cheap – between € 1.15 and € 5.70, menu choices reflect the food preferences: vegetarian, gluten free … British Airways is the first airline to offer sandwiches of a great brand, let’s hope that the experience will be emulated!   • Belmond: Two new luxurious houseboats

    The Belmond group is announcing the arrival of Belmond Pivoine and Belmond Lilas, which will join the Belmond fleet in France during the summer of 2017. Belmond Pivoine and Belmond Lilas, have four cabins with bathrooms. They will sail along the canals and rivers of Alsace and Champagne. We do not get bored on a cruise of six nights on board: private tours of wineries, breweries and magnificent castles are in the program: the promise of non-ordinary getaway and discover the most beautiful landscapes of the French countryside. Belmond Pivoine will sail between Meaux and Chalons-en-Champagne along the Marne and the Canal Lateral to the Marne. Belmond Lilas will travel the Marne-Rhine Canal through Alsace. Along the canal, guests can visit small towns and villages before exploring Strasbourg, for a cruise pause. The two barges have open decks and a swimming pool surrounded by plants.   • New York: a downtown Four Seasons!

    In late October we celebrate the inauguration of the second New York hotel of the Four Seasons group, located in a changing Downtown Manhattan. Located on Barclay Street in a new skyscraper of 82 floors overlooking the historic streets of Lower Manhattan. This new location offers 185 rooms including 28 suites, a spa, seven cabins, a 23m swimming pool, a restaurant signed by Wolfgang Puck and private residences. Tribeca, Soho … these districts are now highly sought after and most beautiful brands settled there close to fashion boutiques and near the trendy district of Meatpacking, the new Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is the place to be ! The very contemporary decor highlights works of art, precious wood, bronze tones with accents … for a bright and peaceful atmosphere. The area of the rooms varies between 37 m2 (standard room) and 223 m2 for the Royal Suite. The bathroom has a mini spa-like look with its elliptical bath, separated shower. We love the concept of steakhouse CUT by Wolfgang Puck, whose decor is signed by Jacques Garcia, himself! A. F.-M

  • Maldives : a new resort signed by Soneva

    The Soneva Group who instigated the concept of “barefoot luxury” inaugurated a new resort the Soneva Jani, of 25 overwater villas with a fully privatized villa and an island villa in a virgin atoll. 18 villas have one bedroom, 5: 2 bedrooms, 1: 3 bedrooms and 4: 4 bedrooms. They are connected by a wooden deck and each has a swimming pool and direct access to the lagoon, some even have a toboggan to dive from the terrace! The sober decor highlights natural materials. The top? the retractable roof for observing the sky from our bed. 5 eating places are available to guests of this small 5 km2 paradise… A.F-M

  • Chantilly: heading to the Auberge du Jeu de Paume

    Only 40 kilometers north of Paris, the area of Chantilly thrones in its splendor. In 2012, the Auberge du Jeu de Paume has emerged, with a unique location in the heart of the Chantilly estate. The hotel is named after the tennis court, it is next to, built in the 18th century by Louis Joseph, Prince of Condé. This Relais & Chateaux, 5 star, has 67 rooms and 25 suites mainly oriented on the gardens. They offer large areas ranging from 28 m2 for the first room to 200m2 for the Presidential Arc de Triomphe Suite, towering Chantilly as a private apartment. Some suites open onto large terraces above the park: simply magical. Since this summer, we welcome the arrival of Clement Leroy, the new executive chef of the Table du Connétable, the gourmet restaurant of the hotel. Alumnus and right arm of Guy Savoy, aged 35, he signs here a very personal first menu in four starters, three fishes and three meats.   • Gordes: Le Petit Palaos d'Aglaé

    True oasis perched on the foothills of Gordes this delicious “palace”, originally an old farmhouse, opened last June. Nestled in the heart of a lush garden in a two-hectare park, it offers 16 rooms: standard ones of 18 m2 and luxury ones of 22 m2 that can be connected to form large family suites. One of them even has a terrace of 18 m2! As for the table led by the young chef Frédéric Trabuch, he goes for naturalness and proximity. The vegetables come from the garden or from local producers. The mixes are subtle, cooking is right, juices are concentrated for an healthy gourmet cuisine.   • A spa at the Hotel du Castellet

    Two years of work were necessary to give the Hôtel du Castellet a new spa. This five star hotel ideally located between Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Toulon, enjoys a privileged location overlooking the sea and next to the vineyard of Bandol. The new space of 700 m2 with six treatment rooms including one exceptional suite, a sensory space consisting of a lively pond and a wetland hammam, sauna and ice fountain and a salt cave.   • France: flavors and health train
