  • Ponant and Ducasse: a tasteful collaboration

  • Caudalie: new design for the Ile aux Oiseaux

    After the 12 suites built on the model of the oyster huts on the Bassin, the cellar-bar called the Rouge, the sublime indoor pool unveiled during the summer of 2014, the second Michelin star obtained in 2015, Alice and Jérôme Tourbier innovate and transform their mythical suite, l’Ile aux Oiseaux. Alice Tourbier who wanted a female perspective has entrusted the design of the iconic aqua suite to the designer Delphine Manivet, known for her ultra feminine and clean lines of wedding and evening dresses. Inaugurated on February 4th, the new decor includes all the brand’s signature codes: noble materials, precious details and white dominance. We love the silhouettes imagined by the designer: true ideal of femininity and softness.   • Casablanca: Welcome to the Four Seasons

    Second institution of the group in Morocco, after Marrakech, the new Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, enjoys a privileged location on the Corniche of the White City in the upscale neighborhood of Anfa. It has large terraces, including the restaurant, and large windows opening onto the Atlantic. The hotel has collaborated with architects and renowned international designers to create a welcoming environment that reflects a destination full of history. The building was designed by Foster + Partners. Lively meeting place for local and international clients, the 186-rooms hotel features three restaurants and bars, a spa, the most luxurious of Casablanca and a large heated pool in order to swim all year long! Some original works by contemporary artists are also displayed such as the famous Moroccan ceramist Myriam Mourabit, who created beaded vases especially for the hotel. Ceramic murals were designed by Spanish studio Terra Lume in the courtyard of the hotel and the spa.   • 3 stars at La Bouitte

    They are discreet and yet the best father and son do not lie about their name! René and Maxime have over the time, in their famous restaurant, La Bouitte, in St. Martin de Belleville, 1500 m away from the the gates of the Three Valleys, forged a table, a true ode to Savoy. Each ingredient has its place: vegetables cooked in their own juice, double cream tart, lemon caviar, Crayfish, pike dumplings, spices, whitefish from Lake Geneva, wild natural blueberries, Beauforts cheese crozets “risotto-style”. .. Not to mention the duck cutlet foie gras, fresh corn pancake, honey from St Marcel, old vinegar (the only dish that has been accompanying the entire history of La Bouitte, from the 1st to the 3rd Michelin star). The Michelin Guide awarded them in February 2015 with the supreme reward: 3 stars! making La Bouitte the highest three-star restaurant in Europe. Since two years it is now possible to rest from these feasts at the 16-bedrooms cabin cottage built in the prolongation of La Bouitte.   • Verbier: a new hotel at the Châble

    Verbier and Val de Bagnes in the mountains of Valais, is the harmony between man and nature. During the winter there are over 400km of ski slopes waiting the most experienced skiers. The area is also a paradise for freeride and hiking. In summer, numerous hiking and mountain bike trails tailored to individual desires go through typical villages and pastures. At the heart of Châble, the A Lârze hotel with a very family atmosphere: lounge with fireplace, small TV room … opened its doors in December 2015. The three-star hotel is pretty well located two minutes away from shops, restaurants, public transport and lifts. Designed by craftsmen from the region, it is largely made in Larch hence explaining its name “A Lârze” meaning larch in the dialect of the region. The 10 double rooms are dressed in warm shades, providing beams and wood floor for a decidedly mountain style. Some have balconies with views of Mont Rogneux. All are equipped with TV and free WiFi. On the ground floor, in the bright breakfast room guests can enjoy local products: cheese, milk, butter, just laid fresh eggs. Depending on the season, there are even homemade jams. By the late afternoon a small stop at the sanarium is ideal for true relaxation and chase aches! A. F.-M.

  • Tap Portugal: a big applause

    The Portuguese airline company that invests 11 million Euros in the modernization of its fleet, is thus the first in Europe to change its medium-haul fleet to improve efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. TAP Portugal has also begun a DE12 A320 airbus family modification program which began on December 7th, 2015 and will end in 2017.
