An XL canopy, raw materials, mineral colors, an open kitchen, host’s tables and a dining counter: this is the décor imagined for Terra by the JMCA Atelier that lies in an old fine leather workshop in the Haut Marais. In any event, the cuisine orchestrated by the chef Jean His, who has cooked at the Saint Pierre in Singapore and the Grande Maison de Bordeaux in duet with Léa Ghetta (ex-Galopin), delivers creative recipes that include beautiful products and clearly display the label “good food”, dear to the founders of the place. The menu includes whole fish such as cod en croute, premium meat that promises carnivorous pleasure such as the beef rib steak matured for 30 days and nicely solar propositions: gorgeous Galician grilled octopus, cauliflower and wild rice popcorn. And for the thirsty, a collection of natural wines carefully selected by Robin Stucki. Verdict? A cozy table, the sole purpose of which is to enchant its guests in an atmosphere of sharing.
