Let’s relax at the REcyclerie!
Built in 1869 and closed in 1934, the Ornano station, located a fews step away from the flea market at the Porte de Clignancourt, was given a second life under the creative impulse of the Sinny & Ooko team already in charge of the Machine du Moulin Rouge and the Pavillon des Canaux. Both a canteen, an urban farm and a repair shop, this living & sharing place supports sustainable development, ecology and fair trade. Rich in ideas and expert in programming, the REcyclerie team offers Parisians an array of activities and delightful fun. This summer, we chill from dawn to sunset on the sofas arranged along the quays, our beers coming in a wheelbarrow ! We take a green break while going for a walk in the forest, we visit the chicken in the henhouse, the hives and the aquaponic basin. Gourmet breaks are offered at the summer bar where the outdoor kitchen offers flavored and tasty pizzas and refreshing ice-creams. You can drop your kids at the children’s corner, which is full of board games and they can participate to the Pop-Pop Boat, the very popular mechanical boat race in Brittany. We barter and chine every Sunday with the Broc ‘dej and flea markets to find small treasures at low prices. In short, we leave the frenzy and the tumult of our daily lives and we offer ourselves a breath of well-being” a few steps away from home in a place that supports beautiful values. So trendy.
