Located in the 9th arrondissement, this coquettish table, run by Hugues Barretieri and chef Anthony Poussel (formerly from Plazza Athénée), revives the spirit of the Parisian brewery in a contemporary version. Congratulations to the interior designer Virginie Friedmann, who woke up the atmosphere of the place by immersing it in a shade of green inspired by the grey green of the rooftops of Paris and the iconic statues of the Parisian gardens. Dressed in marble, slender luminaires and a sculptural mirror, the space beholds a ‘bistrotière’ identity with great elegance. In tune with this atmosphere, the cuisine creates fine traditional dishes. At Bistrot Rougemont, you can feast on beautifully roguish dishes that are infused with nomadic details and epochal juices: candied pig’s cheek 12 hours, low-temperature cooked beef paleron, tuna steak… And for the thirsty? A selection of dynamic and natural wines. Stylish.
