La Mangerie: new decor!

Colourful and green, this pretty address planted in the Marais has just undergone a makeover.

Balinese inspiration in this little corner of paradise which counteracts the standards of purity to play the card of sweet eccentricity. Quilted with audacity and greenery, the space compiles luxuriant tapestry on the walls, rattan chandeliers on the ceiling, cushions in abundance on the sofas. As an added bonus, the lighting is subdued for a decor that strikes the eye, an exotic spirit of calm and capital comfort. In residence, Serge, the ultra friendly master of the place, always welcomes his guests with a shot of rum! On the side of the menu, the same vein, the same tone with a friendly cuisine that willingly welcomes sharing: gouda petal with truffle, beef risotto, mozzarella fritters, gravlax salmon tataki… And to enrich everything, well struck and creative cocktails like the raspberry mojito, which has become one of the house’s bestsellers. Clearly, we’re going back.
La Mangerie, 4, rue de Jarente, Paris 4ème. Tel. 01 42 42 77 49 35. Open from Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 1am.
