« Leather forever » in London

« Leather forever » in London.
Hermès is holding an exhibition in the galleries of 6 Burlington Gardens to celebrate leather. The material has been at the heart of the House’s designs since its origins; this is the opportunity to enter a world apart. The visitor is taken on a poetic journey around horse saddles, the legendary bags and recent creations by the House of rue Faubourg Saint-Honore, as well as other exceptional items such as orders made for the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The artisans from the Parisian ateliers will introduce the art of working with leather. Moreover, on the occasion of this exhibition, four “Pass-Guide” bags, made as a one-off to symbolise England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, will be auctioned to benefit the Royal Academy of Arts. Until May 27

Throughout his career, Moreau devoted a collection to the character of Helen of Troy that is as rich from a formal point
