Cheval d’Or: Franco-asian canteen

Here comes Chef Taku Sekine again, who puts his talent to work at this new table nestled in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. In duo with Florent Ciccoli (Au Passage, Bones), he pays tribute here to a popular and family cuisine while preserving a qualitative approach: “Cheval d’Or gives me the opportunity to broaden my creative palette and do new things,” says Taku Sekine. Bull’s-eye! On the menu, small and large, cheerful and punchy dishes make up a bold menu that delights all thanks to raw and cooked dishes. The final result? A concentrate of Asian flavours that can be enjoyed in a refined décor designed by the French architectural firm Ciguë with white walls, parquet flooring, high tables and delicate lighting. Let’s go! Cheval d’Or, 21 rue de la Villette, Paris 19ème. Open on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 11pm. Open from Thursday to Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm and then from 7.30pm to 11pm.
