Hotel l'Hermitage La Baule © DR

La Baule Hermitage

Since 1927, it has reigned over La Baule, dominating the beach across from one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Today, having been renovated from top to bottom by Pierre-Yves Rochon, it is decked out in pastel tones and shades of blue, boasting nothing short of its past prestige. Amongst the 184 bedrooms and 16 suites with a view over the sea and local villas, we particularly appreciate the new south-facing luxury rooms spanning 25m2 with wonderful views over the sea. At the Eden Beach, its seafood and fish restaurant, relish the sand on your feet, regional products fresh from local markets and the new designer décor with its cool, chilled, chic atmosphere. Although this is no reason to snub the excellent poolside restaurant with its south facing terrace – perfect for a laid-back lunch!
