Following the success of “Braque” and “Josephine” ARTea Time, the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris dedicates its latest edition to the Paul Durand Ruel exhibition currently showing at the Musée du Luxembourg. For the occasion, the hotel’s pastry chef François Perret has dreamed-up a dessert, taking inspiration from a paint pot. The brush, made entirely of milk chocolate enhanced by a blackberry glaze, poised atop a delicate stand, surrounded by white chocolate that is simultaneously crisp and gooey. The centre is light and airy, comprising of a dark chocolate ganache teamed with a delectable creamy creation of blackberries and almonds. And to prolong this heavenly moment, an individual no-queue ticket will be handed to one lucky diner, offering the chance to discover the 80 masterpieces by the impressionist artist.
