The Hôtel Fabric opens its doors.
Located between République and Bastille, in the eleventh arrondissement of Paris, Hôtel Fabric is located in a former textile factory. Drawing on the working-class history of the area, the hotel was inspired by the industrial architecture of the building to turn it into a chic design location, without abandoning any of its original charm. Metal structures, large paned windows, brick walls, exposed columns and raw materials evoke the trades once practiced on rue Folie-Méricourt in a modern light. The 33 rooms combine graphic forms and industrial factory furniture with precious and colored fabrics, recalling the workers’ allotment gardens of the Ménilmontant quartier.
