Work in progress.
Whilst palaces have all found their place, these are the little bundles of charm that continue to develop the Parisian hotel scene. In the ‘Ones to Watch’ series, the brand new EVOK group announces the openings of three hotels by the end of 2016. And each designer has their district: the formidable Jean-Louis Deniau in the 1st arrondissement, for example, and Philippe Stark in the 16th, who shall rejuvenate the enormous post-office structure on the rue de la pome. Breathtaking? It is far more than that…500m2 worth of rooftop gardens, a henhouse, the largest pool in Paris and a kid’s club open to all residents in the area, and a local table with the choice of matured meats, accompanied by vegetables cultivated from just above. What’s next? New York, London…any and every capital.
