Let’s go to England by boat!

As we all know, when travelling from London to Paris, the channel tunnel is unbeatable with its linking the capitals in just two and a half hours…But for those non-Parisians who wish to land in England by boat, by means of a mini-cruise, there is the ferry.Brittany Ferries, as the name may not suggest, is a French (or rather Breton!) ferry company that has nine boats at its disposal, operating ten maritime routes. When heading for England, you can embark at le Havre, Ouistreham or Saint-Malo to arrive at Portsmouth for fast ferries (3 hours 45 minutes) or longer overnight voyages (9 hours) during which you can make the most of the sleeper cabins. From Portsmouth, London is no more than two hours away. Another mode of travelling to the United Kingdom that does not lack in charm…
