Sylvie Aubry, the favorite florist of the Meurice and the Crillon (until its recent closure) and founder of the Fées d’herbe, the boutiques Les Fées in the Marais and Le Bazar des Fées in Mortagne-au-Perche has recently transformed Les Fées into Melanc(h)olia , a shop dedicated to objects, lighting and vintage furniture from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Passionate about objects and furniture from this period, the store showcases the findings and coups de coeur of the young woman. European designers and major Scandinavian brands can be found here in a setting that befits their standard. In a nod to the past of the Fées, there is also a wide selection of pottery from other workshops and dishes for which Sylvie Aubry has always had a particular passion.
