Nantes: ultra design decoration at the Mercure!
Here is a Mercure hotel that will debunk misconceptions about hotel chains. Featuring a very serious upgrading, this hotel beautifully located next to the train station (it even has a direct entrance from the bar) just offered itself a total makeover. Led by Marcelo Joulia, the architect whose brilliant achievements in the world are legion, the hotel now has a stylish and innovative design. From the lobby, the style is given: the cement tiles share the land with lovely wooden floors. The lounges and restaurant are bodywork of custom-made blond wood libraries like all besides furniture, signed by Cantreau, a manufacturer from Cholet and filled with books and magazines just like at a friend’s house. The 31 rooms have the distinction of having very large bathrooms, treated like real rooms with large walk-in showers. A part of the walls are dressed in modern colors: blue, yellow, ocher and gray agreeing to the 50s furniture. At the brasserie restaurant, we enjoy a delicious locavore cuisine, . A. F.-M
