The 34B: a tribute to French lifestyle
Last renovation of Astotel signed by Philippe Maidenberg, this hotel features 128 rooms, on the border of the 9th and 2nd district. The ground floor has regained its original walls, made of brick and stone, combined with contemporary furnishings, successfully working all together. In the lobby, we like the library of books dedicated to France and antiques which are all nods to our culture and way of life: a model of the Concorde, a Parisian pavement and a bottle of a famous wine . The contemporary rooms are bright and clean, all in blue and white, recalling the color of the sky. In the rooms, three headboards emphasize French features: the sailor, berets and old Parisian lanterns. The board’s office is a wink showcasing country roads, with a fake grass displaying a cyclist and a miniature DS tribute to the films of Claude Sautet or nightcap in the 70’s. On the fourth and sixth floor the 34B hotel offers two duplex rooms with a wide view on the colorful décor of the interior façade. A. F.-M.
