Aman Tokyo Hotel
The décor in the 84 bedrooms and suites is largely inspired by traditional Japanese interior design, with a particular emphasis on classic materials: camphor wood, Washi paper and stone. These last two go perfectly with the very modern design that dominates throughout. The centre-piece of the hotel: an astonishing architectural feature, which resembles the interior of a Japanese paper lantern and that hangs down on all six floors from the lobby to the edifice’s centre! There is also an excellent spa, an immense swimming pool and 4 restaurants, amongst which we particularly recommend the Restaurant by Aman on 33rd floor, which proposes gourmet Mediterranean cuisine, as well as Japanese delicacies.
