Open House Festival
Established in London in 1992 by Victoria Thornton, the Open House festival helps to honor the architectural heritage of major cities by inviting the public to discover the scenes of buildings which are usually closed to him. Since 2007, Jerusalem has organized this event by offering privileged access to a hundred places, from older remaining buildings to the most contemporary buildings. For three days, visitors will be able to follow a thematic tour or accompanied by a guide and immerse into the heart of the archive room of the Israel Museum, the Mount Zion Hotel or the Sephardic synagogue which became an orphanage, but also private homes and lush gardens.
From 22 to 24 September. www.itraveljerusalem.com
