Mondaine clocks punctuate the boards of Deauville.
Strides in their time by artists and designers such as Coco Chanel and Josephine Baker, immortalized every year by the stars invited to the American Film Festival, the Deauville boardwalk constantly vibrate.
Emblematic of the city, they are now adorned with two Swiss Mondaine clocks. The choice of these clocks is not random. Their story is itself remarkable. Inspired by the Bauhaus style, precursor of an international contemporary design, the Mondaine clocks are installed, since 1972, in over 3,000 Swiss train stations, but also in many legendary places such as Leicester Square, the MoMA in New York, Boston or San Francisco.
