Adelaide: "Versus Rodin"
at the Art Gallery of South Australia
Auguste Rodin broke the sculptural mold by rejecting academic attitudes to develop a creative mode of expression that is specific to him in his representation of the body. On the occasion of the centenary of the artist’s death, the Art Gallery of South Australia presents twenty bronzes and a canvas from his collections, to which respond the 200 works of Australian and international artists who were inspired by the work Of Rodin.
