"Valérie Jouve" at Jeu de Paume, Paris.
Merging art and documentaries, both political and poetic, the work of Valérie Jouve takes the liberty to confirm the resistance of individuals in the face of social and urban normalisation.
Since the end of the 80s, her photos have relentlessly explored the relationship that we have with cities and how we live in these spaces. The two classic subjects of landscape and portrait are combined in a way that, in the density of urban locations, takes on highly choreographed scenes.
Until 27th September.
