« Futura: Introspective » at the Madga Danysz gallery, Paris.

Emblematic street-art figure and pioneer of movement since the early 1970s due to his abstract, unlettered graffiti, Futura is a legend.

Like Basquiat, Seen or Keith Haring, he is part of a group that, in 1981, set the tone for a new generation that revolutionized art by means of ground-breaking ways of expression. His style is unmistakable throughout, with his abstract motifs that replace classic graffiti as well as through the vivacity of his compositions. Futura falls into the domain of abstract expressionism. He builds an entire universe of intense and instinctive colours, balanced with lines leaning towards geometric patterns that he spray paints with the finesse of a paintbrush.
Until 26 July.
