«Urban Choreography» at the Museum of Art, Tel Aviv.
The Museum of Modern Art in Tel Aviv explores the concept of architecture at the border between urban cultural development, the preservation of cultural traditions, social trends and environmental needs.
Architecture acts as an experiment in the representation of movement and change, rather than as a static element. Chinese artist Cao Fei expresses the rapid urbanization of China, between the real, hyper-real and imaginary. Revital Cohen and Tuur Van Balen examine the link between objects, conditions of production and the body in the productive space. And finally, Andrés Jaque explores the various socio-political arrangements that embody confrontation and activism.
