An emblematic figure in contemporary art, Henri Matisse explores, to mark the end of his career, the world of collage.
The exhibition at the Tate Modern is a unique chance to discover this artist’s masterpieces, all under one roof, and to appreciate his work, which becomes an art in its own right. More than 120 collages from 1936 to 1954 are also exhibited, tracing the evolution of Matisse’s reflection and the intricate work that he mastered, creating the perfect lines.
