A serious event, this exhibition presents fifty works by the great Italian master and just as many loans.

Veronese (1528-1588), who everyone recognizes as the great master of color who was even responsible for inventing new hues, was one of the greatest painters of the Venetian Renaissance. Celebrated during his lifetime, his posthumous reputation has made him an inspiration to many celebrated painters, such as Van Dyck, Rubens, Watteau and Delacroix.
