Steinway & Sons opens its showroom in Paris

Sandra Serpero

12 000 different pieces, one year of manufacture and 80% of the work done by hand: if Steinway & Sons manufactures the best pianos in the world it is not quite a coincidence! Artists and lovers of exceptional pieces will get excited for the inauguration of the first Parisian address of this renowned brand. Located on the left bank, in the historical district of Saint Germain, this sublime space, chic and spacious, unfolds in grace in a tailor-made frame. After England, it is in Paris that Steinway & Sons has chosen to highlight its iconic products and surprise us with a place that is not only a shop …
Spread over two floors and 700m2, the brand new Parisian Steinway & Sons combines the remarkable legacy and captivating technological innovations of this world-renowned piano brand. In this magnificent showroom, we find the whole range of Steinway & Sons pianos including the ” Imagine ” piano in tribute to John Lenon. And the last one, ultra innovative and completely autonomous: the grand piano ” Spirio ” which thanks to a dedicated application is able to reproduce with unprecedented accuracy more than 3000 different pieces! Amateurs and enthusiasts can try every piano here. Cherry on the cake ? This place asserts its singularity by also housing a 50-seat concert hall raised on the first floor as well as two rehearsal studios coiled in the basement and made available to artists and students. A shop that does not look like any other piano shop as pointed out by Clément Caseau, CEO of Steinway & Sons France: “It’s much more than a show room where you can buy an instrument of exception. This new Parisian space is a friendly meeting place where artists and visitors can get together and enjoy a very eclectic music program, in line with our tradition of celebrating arts and culture.
Steinway & Sons, 230 boulevard Saint Germain, Paris 7ème. T. : 01 45 48 01 44.
