Dream huts in the Vosges
The madness of atypic accommodations keeps revolutionizing the little world of hotels. Countless huts in the trees that grow everywhere in France. But in many cases it is only a few wooden boards attached in a tree … La Clairière aux Cabanes, in the Vosges mountains, it’s a different story! Here you find 10 little houses, each one as amazing as the other one. La Clairière aux Cabanes it’s a family affair. Jocelyne and Régis Laurent, mad about sports and nature, have first founded Bol d’Air, an adventure park in La Bresse where you can experience thrills via zip lines or a Fantasticable on which we slide at more than 100 km / h! La Clairière aux Cabanes is their latest project, to offer accommodations as amazing as that their adventure park. Each house is unique and was built upon unprecedented design. Cottages suspended in trees like this amazing “drop” in which four people can sleep. It is hung with two other cabins called the « perched tribe” which allows a whole family, up to 11 people to enjoy a stay in the air. A unique offer in France. Other small cottages on the ground allow to live this childhood dream to sleep in a wooden hut. The Repaire de l’explorateur to play Jack London, the Fuste du trappeur to travel to northern Canada without leaving the Vosges. And, most unusual and most sought after of all, the Maison du Hobbit to live as the hero of Lord of the Rings. A half-buried house, with all modern comforts: kitchen and hot shower, room with wood stove … A must to live like Bilbo the Hobbit, summer and winter, in the Vosges!
