Paris-Texas, a gourmet journey
The three PNYs (Marais, Faubourg Saint-Denis and Oberkampf) were already famous for their burgers. But with Paris-Texas, Graffi and Rudy, the two founders of the restaurants opened what could become an institution: a place dedicated to the Texan BBQ. Meat lovers, this address is for you! Beef, pork and even salmon, all the pieces are cooked on a real texan barbecue to recreate this smoky taste and the mellow meat made in USA. Even the bread is cooked on an embers, according to an Indian recipe. And for those who can not imagine a meal without a cocktail, it is Amaury Guyot, the gifted of Dersou, who has created the drinks menu with for example a Redneck Mary, a bloody mary with smoked tomatoes.
