The 13th Lyon Biennial is an occasion for Palais de Tokyo to present “Le Parfait flâneur”, a collective adventure concieved as a stroll,

in the huge Halle Giraud, an industrial wasteland located next to La Sucrière. Loyal to its desire to promote the contemporary french art scene at major international events, Palais de Tokyo, through the means of this exhibition, showcases artists who are relatively unknown to the public. All the while allowing the artists to present their works in this immense and untouched space for the first time. The experience on offer is one where the public can discover an unstable scenery composed of installations (for some on a grand scale), videos, scultures and sounds. Inspired by the space they occupy, the art works radiate a baudelarian atmosphere specific to “la flanerie” or the art of wandering.
Until the 4th of October. B.D. www.palaisdetokyo.com
