"Picasso.Mania" at the Grand Palais, Paris.
One hundred masterpieces by Picasso, some never shown, face the greatest masters of contemporary art, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat...
Both chronologically and thematically, the exhibition traces the different moments of the critical and artistic reception of the work of Picasso, the steps of the formation of the myth associated with his name. To major stylistic phases, some iconic works such as Les Demoiselles d’Avignon and Guernica, meet contemporary works.
Until the 29th of February 2016.
