As part of the Bloom project by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santa Barbara,

Michael DeLucia transforms the gallery and the museum lobby into a business waiting room, using fake luxury materials. The New York artist uses virtual elements from the world of industry – CAD drawings, video games and movies – to highlight the disparity between the illusion of media and the reality of space in three dimensions. By projecting virtual objects in the room, Michael DeLucia creates a perfect illusion, a strange and generic environment.
