"Catwalk" at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
Exploring Dutch fashion from 1625 to 1960, is the ambition of this exhibition.
Clothing worn by frisian members of the Nassau house in the golden age, Catwald is displaying the French silk dresses with bright colors and luxurious velvet suits from the eighteenth century of the court, the classic-inspired Empire dresses of the late nineteenth century, to the highest point of the twentieth century French haute couture. A vast panorama of three centuries of creation serving fashion.
