A new Andersen, house by Kengo Kuma, Odense.
To mark the 211th anniversary of the birth of the famous storyteller, the city of Odense has launched a new project of the Hans Christian Andersen House.
This is the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma who will carry the innovative museum project dedicated to the father of Hansel and Gretel. The ambitious project plays an important role in the profound changes happening in Odense. Based on the magical world of the storyteller and close to beautiful gardens, the Hans Christian Andersen Museum – and the cultural center for children that it will incorporate – will offer a comprehensive and unique experience.
