An original practice of photography

Along the exhibition at the BNF in the room « French Portraits”, we discover a gallery of personalities that marked the French cultural and artistic life of the 50 to 70: Coco Chanel, Picasso, Catherine Deneuve, Truman Capote, but also a portrait of Evelyn Avedon, wife of Richard Avedon, he photographed at the San Régis in Paris in 1955: a very pretty picture, rare, revealing a private facet of the life of the photographer. The exhibition is also called a “biographical” as the personality of the photographer is exposed as never before. But its original practice of photography, transmedia before the hour, from paper to 35mm Technicolor film …
