Le Mathis

Installed on the Ponthieu street, close to the Champs-Elysées, the Hôtel Mathis is the latest of the H8 Collection group. From the hall, like a mansion, elegance wins with a quirky side: gold ceilings fail to mask the leopard motif that adorns the staircase. But in the twenty-three rooms, change of scenery with more velvety atmospheres. Here, the sweetness is expressed in chiaroscuro. The clear or black parquet warms the atmosphere. The patterned wallpapers with palms and birds temper with united raspberry textures and cream with silver gray drapes. The quality furniture, the baroque mirrors single out the suites. The selected objects, precious or not, could be family ones. What to compose an atmosphere that makes you want to curl up in the comfortable chairs, enjoy the soft duvets to laze. No automation demonstrative or ostentatious design here. The hotel experience is transformed here into a personalized life sequence. For travelers in search of privacy and freedom, they can appropriate themselves selected times, in freedom.
