Contemporary Sculpture Park
Invitation to an intimate encounter with the finest works of contemporary art in the world.
It is at Muy, in the hinterland of St. Tropez or St. Raphael, an hour’s drive of Grasse. It is a rocky path that winds through the hills. It invites to dive into the heart of wild nature of Provence, dry, covered with fragrant plant species, to meet with, one-on-one, one after the other, works of art, among the most important of our time.
The particular affection of the Parisian gallery owner Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand to the work of Niki de Saint-Phalle whom he is one of the most ardent admirers, is probably not unrelated to the creation of one of the beautiful contemporary sculpture parks in France whose charm attracts collectors worldwide since its opening in July 2015. Thus, in a simple, obvious way, the Domaine du Muy sets itself as a reference in an introductory approach to sculpture in the life of nature and architecture.
